It seems my newsreader has more sense than I do. I\'ve recently noticed
it\'s marking Bill\'s posts as \'read\' so I don\'t tend to notice them as
easily any more. Perhaps Agent have introduced an AI feature to
automatically weed-out time wasters! On reflection I don\'t think I\'ll
change it back again. :)

Default rule to bin Google Groups, perhaps? :)

Some people who have been posting here for twenty years or more - Cursitor Doom has\'t been around quite that long - seem to think that they have to keep on using the same program. Cursitor Doom seems to think that Forte Agent s the only way to access the user group.

I\'ve used a variety of programs over the past twenty years, but I find that accessing google groups through Firefox works rather more easily than anything else.

It\'s not great at showing thread structure, so I go into Eternal September through Thunderbird when I want to see that, but I rarely feel the need.

Decadent Linux User Numero Uno felt hurt when Google groups moved his carriage returns around, but I\'m here to read the text, not to admire the formatting.
