OT: Samsung Gear VR user?...

Apparently the Oculus Quest is a better choice, but I\'m just messing with it.

What I would REALLY like to do is use the shell with my Galaxy S10e for DJI
drone flying. But I don\'t know how that might work. I understand virtual
reality view requires software since the lenses break the display into 2
parts. And I guess it holds the phone too close to be used without lenses.

I have the original 2015 version (apparently it\'s being dumped) AND the most
recent version. Now discontinued.

Here\'s a video that shows \"adapting\" the old version so it will fit a type C
smartphone...

It\'s in Vietnamese but there are useful captions.

He just removes the connector. What can you do with it without a connector to
your smartphone?

Thanks.

Your Windows 11 upgrade is waiting.

LOL! Who\'s going to bother?

So the Vietnamese captions aren\'t really useful.

Try to write a full sentence in your subject line once in a while. Your
sentence fragment with a question mark leaves us wondering \'What ABOUT
Samsung Gear VR user??\"

It\'s in Vietnamese but

Hey! A year ago, I bought a sledgehammer that was made in VietNam.
13 lbs., all black. It looks wicked.

I put it away after an hour, and the next day bought a red jackhammer at
Harbor Freight.

Anybody with the DJI Mini 2 or any other FPV (on smartphone display) drone
try the MagiMask/DroneMask?

Having trouble finding it on either Amazon or eBay. Lots of glowing reviews
on YouTube, maybe most of them paid/gifted.

Apparently it is like virtual reality goggles except maybe without 3D. It
lets you look at your smartphone screen shaded and from a short distance.

Seems strange that it\'s not being distributed on Amazon or eBay.

Maybe without? I\'m not familiar with any of these. Not Samsung, not
Oculus, not Google Cardboard, not Magimask, not interested.
But now, in under 5 minutes, I already know there\'s no 3D with this.

Look, dumbboy
